Could Your Coffee Habit Be Healthy?

Caffeine is pretty well recognized for its powerful ability to help increase feelings of alertness. But did you also know that caffeine can be unhealthy if enjoyed in large amounts? Depending on how much coffee you drink and how strong you like your brew, coffee can elevate blood pressure and increase the risk of insomnia and sleep disruptions. There are other downsides to drinking too much caffeine as well. But there are also many benefits to caffeine if the substance is enjoyed in small to moderate amounts. One way that caffeine may benefit health is by blocking inflammation in the body. Inflammation is responsible for a variety of health issues and diseases, including type 2 diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.
